Privacy policy

What we collect

• The photos you upload to make a video: your pet, and you if you pick You + your pet.
• The videos we generate for you.
• The email address you pay with, so we can send your receipt, the link to your videos and the ready email.
• A cookie that keeps your pack and videos on this device, since there is no account to sign in to.
• Your IP address and browser type, to prevent fraud and misuse.
• Payment records from Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic usage data, such as pages visited and errors, to keep the service working.
• Where your visit came from: the site or app that sent you and any campaign tags in the link. It is kept in a cookie for 90 days and saved with a purchase, so we know which channels work.

How we use your photos

Your photos are used only to make the video you asked for. To render it, we send them with a text description of the scene to a third-party AI video service, which processes them to return your video and for no other purpose we authorize. We don’t use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Deleted after 3 days

Your photos and the finished video are deleted automatically 3 days (72 hours) after the video is ready. Download it before then: the ready email has the download link. A video that fails is deleted along with its photos. Your email address and payment records are kept for as long as your pack has unused videos, and payment records for as long as tax law requires.

Where your files are stored

Photos and videos are stored with a cloud storage provider until they are deleted. Pack and payment records are stored in our database. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy, and emails are sent through an email delivery provider.

Sharing

A video is only visible to others if you share its link. We don’t sell your data or share your email address for marketing.

Your rights

For a copy of your data, to have it deleted sooner, or for any other privacy request, email support@tryknightcatai.com from the address you paid with. We delete photos and videos right away on request, and other records from our backups within 30 days.
